Season pass terms

What it is

A Season pass is a ladder of 30 tiers for one season. A season runs about 8 weeks, and its end date is on the pass. Season 1 is "Street Level".

How it fills

The pass fills from the XP you already earn by playing verses and voting. Each tier needs 150 XP, so all 30 tiers need 4,500 XP. The same XP still counts toward your level, and the pass never changes your level. Only play moves the bar: tiers and XP can't be bought with money or points, and no tier can be skipped.

Free and paid tracks

Everyone signed in gets the free track, with 7 rewards. The paid track gives a reward at every tier, 30 in all.

The paid track is bought once per season through Apple, at the price the App Store shows. Each season's paid track is its own purchase. You must be 18 or older, with your birthday in your account, to buy it.

Rewards

Every reward is a look for your card (a skin, a card effect, a crest or a badge) or a free boost (6 hours of extra reach for one of your posts). Every reward is shown before you buy, and nothing is random. A reward lands on its own when you reach its tier; there is nothing to claim. If you buy the paid track late, you get every paid reward for the tiers you've already reached at once.

Free boosts are not given to accounts under 18: those tiers give nothing. While an account is under review, its boosts wait and land once the review is done.

The pass never gives points, Gems or money, and nothing on it changes a verse, a vote or a rank. The pass and its rewards have no cash value.

Season end

Everything you got is yours to keep. XP earned after a season ends doesn't fill its pass, and a season's paid track can't be bought after it ends.

Restore

The paid track belongs to the YouVS account that bought it. Restore Purchases on another phone brings it back to that account only.

Refunds

Refunds go through Apple. If Apple charges you for a paid track we can't unlock (for example after its season ended), write to Help & support and we'll help you get it refunded through Apple.

If Apple refunds the paid track, its rewards are taken back: paid skins, effects, crests and badges are removed (one you wear goes back to the default), unless you also got the same item from another season's pass, and the free boosts the paid track gave are taken off your free boosts. The free track stays.

Who can't get the pass

Demo, test and bot accounts get no pass progress or rewards.
