This is a short summary while the full terms are written.
Every chance, published
Some things in the app give a prize by chance: mystery boxes, the daily prize wheel and the paid box. Each one rolls on a published table. The app shows each table where the chance is offered, and youvs.app/legal/odds shows them all, read live from the same rows our server uses, so they always show the real numbers. Our server makes every roll; the app only shows the result. When a table changes, youvs.app/legal/odds changes with it.
Mystery boxes
Mystery boxes are never sold. You earn them: a win streak, the weekly contest top 10, your first win of the week, the end of a rank week, and each new level. Each box rolls once, when it is made, on its published table. A box can give points, a streak shield, a free boost, a card skin, a badge, or a gift to send while gift vouchers are open (until then that row gives 50 points, and the table says so; once they are open, if you can't get a gift yet, you get 50 points). You need a verified phone to open a box.
If the prize is a card skin or a badge and every box skin or box badge is already yours, you get 50 points instead. If it is a streak shield and you already hold 3, you get 25 points. Points from boxes count toward the daily limit on rewards: at most 500 points a day from rewards the app pays you (the weekly contest prize is apart).
Daily prize wheel
The wheel is free: one spin a day for an account with a verified phone (the day starts at midnight UTC). It is never sold, and there is no second spin. Our server picks the prize from its published table before the wheel moves; the wheel only shows it. A slice can give points, a streak shield, a free boost, a card skin or a badge.
If the prize is something you can't get (every box skin or box badge already yours, 3 shields already held, or a boost your account can't use yet), you get 50 points instead. Points from the wheel count toward the same daily limit: on a day you are near it, the wheel gives only the points that fit.
Paid box
The paid box costs 100 points and gives a prize in points, never money. It is for adults: you need a birthday on your account that says you are 18 or older, and you can't open one during a break. Before your first box, and again whenever the table or the price changes, the app shows you the paid box's table and you confirm you have seen it.
Each box rolls once on our server, on the published paid table. On average a paid box gives back less than it costs: the average return is published with the table, and it is never more than 90 %. You can open at most 10 a day and spend at most 2,000 points a week on them. Prizes from paid boxes are not rewards from the app: they don't count toward the daily limit, streaks or ranks.

Paid boxes are 18+. They cost points, pay points, and return less than they cost on average. At most 10 plays a day and 2,000 points a week. Wins from paid plays are not house rewards: they never count toward streaks or seasons.
Pools: how it pays
If your player wins, you get your points back plus a share of the other side's points, by how much you put in. A tie, a called-off game or nobody on the other side gives everyone their points back.
A points pot goes to the winner in full. Nothing is taken out.
